MANILA, Philippines — Bataan province is ready to obtain P700-million value of money assist for its residents affected by the imposition of an enhanced neighborhood quarantine (ECQ) over the province, the Division of Finances and Administration (DBM) stated Tuesday.
The quantity was decided by the native authorities and the Division of the Inside and Native Authorities (DILG), DBM Spokesperson Asec. Rolly Toledo stated.
Other than Bataan, Laguna province will likewise get funds amounting to P2.715 billion for money assist for its residents.
“Pinadala na namin yung memorandum sa President para ma-aprubahan. Irerelease na rin ‘yan sa LGUs sa ating lalawigan ng Bataan at Laguna,” he stated in a televised public briefing.

The DBM, in the meantime, has already launched about P10.98 billion of funds for ECQ money assist over Metro Manila, the distribution of which is ready to begin on Wednesday, August 11.
Toledo stated the funds have been sourced from fiscal 12 months 2020’s licensed financial savings.
